WHY ARE THERE FEES ASSOCIATED WITH TELEMEDICINE:
Telemedicine is a great tool in the right situation. However, telemedicine costs our practice to perform in the form of Petriage usage and man power.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS ASSOCIATED WITH TELEMEDICINE:
Telemedicine saves you money in the form of gas, time in the form of travel, and stress and anxiety for your pet.

WHAT ARE THE FEES ASSOCIATED WITH TELEMEDICINE:

  • Depending on the length and depth of the eConsult, the fee will vary. In some cases there may not be a fee.

  • Here is a breakdown of the potential fees:
  •
  • Initial fee with DVM: $35.00
  • Consult from 10-15 minutes: Additional $17 (Total fee of $52)
  • Consult from 16-20 minutes: Additional $34 (Total fee of $69)
  • Consult from 21-30 minutes: Additional $60 (Total fee of $95)
  • Anything requiring more than a 30-minute eConsult will require an in-clinic visit with the doctor

In certain cases, you may need to bring in a sample (ear swab, urine, stool sample), prior to your eConsult to help us better diagnose your pets issue. The fees associated with diagnostics will be paid at the clinic when you drop off the sample.

If we feel it is best to have your pet seen in person, we may also advise you of this prior to OR DURING YOUR eCONSULT.
